- The nominal size is 1/2″ Male Flare x 3/8” Female Flare. Please note, the nominal size DOES NOT EQUAL actual diameter size. The Female end has an actual diameter of 5/8in (1.6cm) and the Male end measures 3/4in (1.9cm) in OD due to pipe sizing standards.
