FLARE THREAD for QQD 3/8″ Male Flare Reducer x 1/2″ Female Flare
- This Adapter has a 3/8″ Male Flare x 1/2” Female Flare. Please note, the nominal size DOES NOT EQUAL actual diameter size. The male end has an actual diameter of 5/8-18in (1.6cm) and the Female end measures 3/4-18in (1.9cm) in OD due to pipe sizing standards.
- [FLARE CONNECTIONS]: The 3/8” Male and 1/2” Female Flare fitting creates a seal via expanding the tube at an angle (a Flare), creating a secure fit. Remember to always apply thread sealant tape or pipe dope to prevent leaks during installation.
- [WIDE RANGE OF USES]: This is made for a diverse range of propane, LPG, or natural gas applications for both high and low pressures. You can use this to connect your grills, RV’s, hoses, heaters, air compressors and many other applications. NPT connections require thread sealant tape or paste.
